District Panchayat Resource Centre, Charaideo

The District Panchayat Resource Centre (DPRC), Charaideo is located at Banfera Gaon, Sonari Sub-Division, in the Charaideo district of Assam. The institute is situated about 50 km away from the District Headquarters – Extension Centre, GBSIPRD, Joysagar, Sivasagar.

The foundation laying ceremony was held in 2022 by the honorable Minister Ranjit Dass  , Department of Panchayat & Rural Development, Government of Assam, to cater  the training needs of elected representatives of PRIs, SHG, CBOs, rural development Departmental functionaries, officials of various line departments, educated youths,  farmers, and other stakeholders of Charaideo district. The DPRC, Charaideo is functioning under the administrative control of GBSIPRD, Assam.
